I recently got challenged by a friend of mine. Not by his words but rather by his actions. I stumbled upon his blog just the other day and it inspired me . He has managed to reach out and get that closer to his dream. He wants to be a journalist with a difference. One of the few Journalists that reach out and not only report on news but also touch the heart of people.

To be honest the first time he told me about his dream I thought he was just some other young man that has big unattainable dreams. How wrong was I!

According to him , the first thing he needed to do was align himself with his dream. How?  He did a lot research on his dream and formulated a plan on how to get that closer to his dream.

I had no idea on how one can align himself with their dreams. I have always had a wait and see mentality. Yes you can say its a less aggressive attitude and why should I tire my self when I can wait and see what life has to offer.

My friend first made sure that he had the right tools to attain his dreams. He made sure he got the right education and mastered the art of writing.

The second thing that he did was to have an online presence . He did not go out and get the .blog.com or .wordpress.com urls no he went and bought a domain name.

His justification , taking something that you have to pay for gives you some sense of responsibility and ownership. He knows that if he does not load or update the site as often he will still pay for it with nothing but just one article.
